if i took a family photo this year it would just be me, my macbook and my cat and me again, having an allergic reaction to him, holding him far away from my face/skin. in the background my parents arguing and watching the olympics, my boyfriend smoking a joint and ignoring me and making terrible ugly websites that i could have made when i learnt how to use the internet when i was in grade six and our wacky teacher taught us web design on old school apple computers even though he has a friggin degree, my abandoned puppy that i adopted and had to dispose of due to being an irresponsible bitch and way too many fucking bowls of pho noodle soup. in front of all this, a toilet, to signify where i have spent the best part of the last 12 months due to various unfortunate bouts of food poisoning and apparently an allergy to gluten free products.
